Children's Books

It all started when my oldest child was getting ready for kindergarten and still sucked her thumb. The dentist urged us to have her stop for her oral health and mentioned other negative impacts of thumb sucking such as bullying. I didn't want to use special nail polish on her nails that tasted bad or a device put over the thumb that would hurt the roof of her mouth- I didn't want to do anything to alter her perspective of something that provided comfort to her for so long, so I turned to books. I searched for books that encouraged and end to thumb sucking and honestly, I didn't like any of them.

I took it upon myself to write my own and have her be the main character.

The farther I got into the process the more and more I loved it and the more book ideas came to mind!

Absolutely love this book! It is hard to wean your child from sucking their thumb, and this book really helped my little one part from their thumb!! The illustrations are super cute! I love giving this as a baby shower book because it’s unique and very relatable.

We Live to Discover is a delightful reminder that adventure is all around us. I love how it inspires children to explore, whether it’s in their own backyard or across the globe. The message encourages curiosity, wonder, and a love of learning that kids can carry with them everywhere they go. A beautiful and uplifting book for families who want to spark a spirit of discovery in their little ones.
